The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization, USA was part of a National Coordinating Committee for UDHR50. This coalition of more than 100 organizations worked together to promote the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The title of the campaign was called "In your Hands".

The Brahma Kumaris chose to explore the moral and spiritual dimension of universal core values embodied in the Declaration. Programs and events were held around the country from August 1998 - December 1998

BRAZIL

The Brahma Kumaris in Brazil organized a national project to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Human Rights.

The Spirit of Human Dignity brochure designed in Greece was translated into Portuguese and made available to the community
